Modified root of a plant-a plant that lies below the surface and are more modified for storage of food and water like carrots.
C4 Plant- corn is  C4 plant. They are better adapted than a C3 plant in an environment with high daytime temperatures, intense sunlight, drought, or nitrogen or CO2 limitation.
Frond- This is a picture of a frond I found in my back yard. Its a leaf like compound that is narrowly divided.
Adaption of a plant- This here is a picture of a rose bush. the bush has thorns to protect it from being eaten and protect itself from predators.
Endotherm- Endoherms are known to create their own body heat. They are warm blooded. My dog raja is an endotherm because he does this.
Predation- An interaction between species in which one species uses another species as food. This here is a picture of a self-made shelter by web spiders as protection from natural enemies as well as catching prey.
