While reading I kept thinking, "Don't smell the test tubes! It's Ebola!!!!", but of course they didn't listen to me! I felt like this part of the book was really predictable. Like, I knew from the start that the virus would spread from Room F to room H. Though why it skipped rooms I do not know. That's kind of a question I'm still confused about is what are all the ways that Ebola can spread. Is it just through the air or do you have to ingest it somehow? It's hard for me to write anything about part 2 because so much happened, yet a lot of it seemed repeated. Though for those men it must have been scary thinking," I could have Marburg or Ebola." One line made me laugh because of the irony of it. The whole section said, "He had held in his gloved hands virtually every hot agent known, except for Ebola and Marburg. When people asked him why he didn't work with those viruses, he replied 'I don't particularly feel like dying.'" I just thought that was really ironic, since he now is dealing with possibly having the Ebola virus.
And why does this book insist on comparing all my favorite foods to disgusting things. I don't think I'll ever want to ingest Salami or mashed potatoes ever again after reading this section! Grr! Hopefully the next section will be just as interesting!
