Reading the second part of "The Hot Zone" was not as easy to read as the first part. It was really slow in almost the first half. I liked reading the first part better because there was more happening and it was more interesting and had me sitting on edge.. After a while it started picking up intensity. For example, when the sample were sent to the Institute and how a lot of the paths of the characters crossed. Something new that I learned from the book is that there are illnesses that can only affect one one type of species. Something that I want to know is if marburg is considered its own type of virus even though it is a strain of ebola. Is it different?
