The Hot Zone Part 1


I enjoyed reading part one of the Hot Zone. This book is very interesting but disturbing, it has a lot of information of the deadly viruses like the Marburg and Ebola virus. I learned that the Marburg virus and aids have similar patterns and that Marburg and rabies have some of the same effects on the brain. Also Kasensero Uganda was the first place were aids appeared. Another interesting fact was the Ebola virus particularly Ebola Sudan the virus which is the deadliest. These viruses can be easily transmitted and that is very scary especially with no cure or exact source of where the viruses began. I don't have any questions because the book is very descriptive and informative.
