The Hot Zone Part 4

I found the last part of the book the least interesting.  It was just kind of the aftermath, not the action that the rest of the book was filled with.  I bascially just learned about the disposal process after a hot outbreak.  I found it tedious but also could understand the need to be so thorough.  I still have questions as to how it kept returning to the same monkey house when the monkeys were from other areas.  Also, I wonder what will happen to the building and if it will ever house Ebola again.

  1. I also did not like this portion of the book, and my thought is that the building will be left empty because of its history.

  2. If that building ever gets infected with the Ebola virus I think it would get demolished but it was abandoned so now we'll never know. If you recall a while back they said that some of the monkey houses overseas would release the sick looking monkeys back into the forests. This could of had something to do with the virus spreading but its just a theory.
