Homeostasis is the property of a system that regulates its internal environment and tends to maintain a stable constant condition of properties such as temperature. Thermometers, such as the one shown above, take peoples temperature.
Pollen is the tiny spores of a plant that were shed by the anther. This flower once had pollen when it was alive and bees feed nectar and pollen to their colony's larvae. Some pollen collected from one flower is also deposited by the bees on other flowers to help them thrive, a process known as pollination.
Modified root- the roots of carrots changed in ways to help gain nutrients
Sponges are an example of Asexual Reproduction because their offspring come from a single parent and break of their bodies.
Vestigial structures are passed down from an ancestor that doesn't harm the organism. they are kept because at one point they help the organism to survive but are no longer useful however they are harmless. Human tailbones are an example of vestigial structures.
