The following photos contain my index finger to ensure that I took these photos myself.
This is my dad's ear. His ear is an example of connective tissue. This tissue is found throughout the human body. Connective tissue makes up a variety of physical structures such as tendons, muscles, capsules, and ligaments around joints, cartilage, bone, blood, and lymphatic tissue.
A bird is an example of a heterotroph. Heterotrophs are consumers and cannot make their own food. Birds cannot make their own food, so they go and find it. We put out bird seed in our yard for the birds to find and eat.
Spiders have exoskeletons. Exoskeletons are external coverings or integuments, especially when hard, that protect and support an animal's body.
Cellular respiration is where cells in the plant, as shown above, use the food to release stored energy. The two main chemicals used in this process are nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide and flavin adenine dinucleotide.
Eukaryotes are any of the single-celled or multi cellular organisms whose cell contains a distinct, membrane-bound nucleus. Animals, plants, fungi, and protists are all examples of eukaryotes because their cells are organized into compartmentalized structures called organelles.
