Scavenger Hunt


Hermaphrodite - An organism having both male and female sex organs or characteristics., like worms.


ATP - Used in cells as a coenzyme.


Epithelial Tissue - Skin that covers the body


Heterotroph - Things that can't make their own food.


Auxin - hormone that has numerous function located at the tip of the stem.


Parenchyma Cells - Cells that help make food for food-making plants, such as orange trees.


Phloem - Living tissue in plants that transports sucrose and other organic to all parts of the plant that needs it.


Predation - Relationship between two species, where one uses the other as food. It's hard to see but there's a spider web and there are three bugs caught in it, ready for the spider to eat.


Tropism - Plants that either grow towards sunlight or away from sunlight.


Anther and filament of stamen - Anther is the part that contains pollen, stamen is where the reproduction process of pollination takes place.


Meristem - Cells that form tissue which create new cells at the stem or root of the plant.
