The Hot Zone: Part Two

Throughout this entire book, so far, I found it to be really interesting. Like everyone else said, I get lost with new characters being introduced and switching back and forth between them. I learned a lot more about the virus, but in this part it has a little bit of a twist on how it treats the monkeys. I get worried with all of the people working with these sick animals because they don't know the risks at hand. Half of the people don't clearly understand how dangerous the virus is until it could be too late. I'm really excited to find out in the next section even if it doesn't go the way I hope it to. I still don't understand how a virus can cause this much damage because the time this takes place is when our sciences really start to take off. I just want to know if the people working with the monkeys get sick and if they survive and what happens to the men that wafted the blood since they didn't tell anyone that they did that.

  2. I also agree with the fact that all of these new characters got a little confusing. It's kind of strange though that all of these people who work with these monkeys haven't gotten sick with Ebola yet. I'm also surprised that those two who wafted it haven't got sick yet but they are still in the incubation period, so who knows what will happen to them.
