Scavenger Hunt

Gibberellins
Gibberellins are plant hormones that endorse the overall growth of plants.  They control growth and they influence multiple developmental processes like enzyme induction and stem elongation, to name a few.  Gibberellins are responsible for the growth of these fruits and of one growing more than the other.
Stigma & Style of Carpel
The carpel is the female reproductive organ of a flower and in it you will find both the stigma and style.  The style is the stalk of the carpel and is found in the middle.  The stigma is located on the circle on top of the carpel.  It is sticky and is designed to help trap pollen.  This picture portrays both the stigma and style.
Phloem
Phloem is the tissue that is responsible for the transportation of soluble organic material [that is created during photosynthesis] and distributing it throughout the entire plant.  In this tree the phloem is located in the innermost layer of the bark.
Animal that has a Segmented Body
An animal with a segmented body is an animal whose body is separated into a series of repetitive segments that are clearly defined.  In this ant hill there are tiny segmented animals known as ants.  The body of the ant is separated into three different sections known as the head, abdomen and thorax.
Frond
A frond is the finely divided leaf of a non-vascular plant.  The picture above depicts a frond.
