Asexual Reproduction 2

Asexual Reproduction: Unlike sexual reproduction, which requires two parents, asexual reproduction only requires one parent to make offspring. Generally used by unicellular organisms, some plants, and a few animals. Two forms of asexual reproduction are fission, in which one organism, generally unicellular, divides into two, and budding, in which new organisms sprout off a parent organism, eventually breaking off from the parent. This can be demonstrated by the "eye" sprouting off this potato.
