The Hot Zone: Part Two

The second part of the book was much more interesting to me than the first part was. The number of steps and amount of precaution that they have to take before entering a hot zone is crazy. However, it's understandable. In this part, I learned that the virus that the are dealing with from the Reston monkeys is a filovirus, and there is a very high possibility that it is Ebola. I also learned that the monkeys that they are dealing with are very strong, vicious animals. I am still having suspicions that the virus could be coming from crystals, since there were crystals forming in the test tubes. Then again, could it be coming from the crabs that the Reston monkeys ate? Also, who killed John Jaax?
