Genetic Variation within a population

Sorry, I didn't feel the need to put my fingers on my own head.  That is my hair.  Genetic variation is simply what makes people look differently.  For example, my hair is blonde, but my friend's hair is brown.  Clearly, our genetics for hair color are very different.
