I'm not going to lie. I'm not certain what those little black fish (?) are. They were swimming around kind of frantically. They're either small fish or tadpoles. Either way, they're ectothermic. To be ectothermic is to depend on an external source of body heat. Amphibians, reptiles, insects and fish are all ectothermic (also known as cold blooded).
