Dominant vs. Recessive Phenotype

 A dominant trait is one that is more likely to overpower the recessive trait. Being blond haired and blue eyes is more rare because those genotypes are weaker than getting brown hair and brown eyes. My mom has blond hair and blue eyes and my dad has brown hair and brown eyes, so i had a fifty fifty chance of getting either, but i ended up getting lucky and having blond hair and blue eyes.
