CAM Plant: Is a plant that undergoes photosynthesis where carbon dioxide is taken up only at night. Pineapple is an example of a CAM plant.
Endosperm: Endosperm is the tissue produced inside the seeds of most flowering plants around the time of fertilization. It is found in corn, and it is what allows corn to pop creating popcorn.
Introduced Spieces: An introduced spieces is a manmade spieces that humans placed into the ecosystem. Tomatos are examples of an introduced spieces because they are not native to America, but they are still here.
Niche: A niche is a position that is well suited to the organism that occupies it. My house is an example of a niche for me.
Radial Symmetry: Radial symmetry is symmetry about a central axis. Butterflies have radial symmetry.
Sporophyte: A sporophyte is used for producing spores in life cycle of a plant that exhibits alternation of generations. Sporophytes are found in moss.
Gibberlins:Gibberellins are plant hormones that regulate growth and influence various developmental processes. Gibberellins are found in plant stems.
Calvin Cycle: The Calvin Cycle is a process that occurs during photosynthesis. This happens when the light energy is used to convert carbon dioxide and water into organic compounds. The plant above undergoes this process.
