7th Biology Scavenger Hunt

(CAMEL) Adaptation of an Animal: Camels have a lot of adaptations for their lifestyles in the wild. They have the ability to raise and lower their body temperatures as needed, they have padded feet, long eyelashes to protect their eyes. There is a slit in the middle of their top lip that comes down from their nose and when their nose fills with condensation it collects in this crease anf becomes a water source for them.
(AFRICAN FENNEC FOX) Cellular Respiration: This fox's cells go through cellular respiration because his cells turn the food he eats into usable energy and then gets rid of the stuff it can't use; carbon dioxide.
(DRIED CRANBERRIES) Enzyme: Enzymes, when ingested, help with the digestive process. Cranberries have these enzymes.
(GOOSE-BUMPS) Homeostasis: When the body gets cold, it has the need to create "goose-bumps" which help retain body heat.
(CINNAMON CAPUCHIN MONKEY) Glycogen: Glycogen is an energy storage that monkeys and other animals contain.
