Introduced Species

An introduced species is exactly what it sounds like. It's a species that is not native to an environment but is instead, introduced by another species (and by 'another species' I pretty much mean humans). For example, the domesticated house cat (or kitten, in this case) was introduced to the Americas by Europeans who used them to control rodent populations around agricultural.
