                                                               The Hot Zone (Part One)
So far what I've read in the book has honestly scared me and made me feel really sick and disgusted. I really disliked the infected monkeys dying from the Ebola experiments. All in all Ebola itself has left me scarred from just learning what it does. The book mentioned the effects of it. It stated, " The skin bubbles into a sea of tiny white blisters mixed with red spots known as maculopapular rash." This seriously disgusted me. The part where they were putting ill people infected with the unknown disease on planes and taking them to other countries scared me and made me think they were idiots because there was a risk of spreading the disease.
My question is how did the U.S get the blood of Peter Cardinal and Nurse Mayinga?

  2. I agree the book is disturbing and descriptive to what happens to the people with that virus.
