Hot Zone Part 2

Part two proved a little harder to follow than part one, however it was still intense and interesting.  The virus being spread in the monkeys was crazy and the symptoms/effects of the virus that the monkeys experienced sounded terrible.  I would not have wanted to be one of those monkeys!  One thing I learned was how they tested viruses.  They basically got samples of known viruses and tested them against the unknown virus and watched for which one glowed.  I also was wondering if McCormick's opinion was right that the virus is not airborne.  That's the main question I still have because it was not really clear in this section whether it was airborne or not.

  1. I agree, the amount of people added to this section made it kind of hard to follow. However, the way they tested the viruses was really interesting and held my attention. I also agree with your question. They never really presented the reader with a clear answer.

  2. John, I agree with the more difficult to follow part. Secondly, I too felt bad for those monkeys.
