Glycogen


Glycogen- a white tasteless polysaccharide molecularly similar to starch constituting the principal carbohydrate storage material in animals and occurring chiefly in the liver and muscles and in fungi and yeast it is broken down into glucose, which yeast, such as this, uses for reproduction.
