This picture of yogart is an example of fermentation. Yogart is created through
lactic acid fermentation. It is made by fermenting milk with friendly bacteria.
The presence of lactic acid, produced during lactic acid fermentation is
responsible for the sour taste.The production of foods such as yougart and cheese involves
lactic acid fermentation.
