Fermentation
Fermentation: aging of organic products, such as meat or grain, to enhance flavor or increase Ethyl Alcohol content.
Examples: Beef Jerky, Beer, Wine
The beer above is fermented by adding sugar and yeast to a grain solution, with the yeast consuming the sugar from the grain and secreting Carbon Dioxide and Ethanol. The brew is kept in an enclosed metal container, kept either warm or cold, depending on the brew.
The fermentation process of the white wine above is the same as the beer, except with grapes instead of grain, and white wine is best kept cold, and is stored in barrels.
