A eukaryote is an organism that has cells with nuclei that hold the species's genetic make-up.All plants and animals are eukaryotes, for example. There are two eukaryotes in this picture: the awesome camel and the guy who laughed at me for carrying a Harry Potter action figure around the zoo.
