AP Bio Scavenger Hunt

This beetle has an exoskeleton, as do most insects. An exoskeleton is an outer shell that serves as a skeletal structure and protection for bugs, rather than the framework of bones in some other animals. An exoskeleton can also be called a 'shell' in most cases.
